12k service at Leven Technology

My Chimaera had its annual service today - a 12k mile service carried out at Leven Technology. The total bill came to £754.11. The cost of the service alone was £537.63, with the remainder being upgrades and other jobs that i had asked Leven to undertake. It is certainly a much more wallet-friendly figure than last years service....

In addition to the service, i had braided brake hoses fitted along with Dot 5.1 fluid and also had the sump removed, cleaned and resealed. Black Diamond grooved discs and Predator pads were fitted at the rear - i had purchased these separately so they're not included in the cost.
Other jobs carried out:

• Steering rack bearings adjusted
• New alternator drive belt fitted
• 2 pairs of exhaust mounts fitted
• New 75mm exhaust clamp fitted
• Radiator bleed washer replaced
• Propeller shaft bolts loose and replaced
• Callipers cleaned and lubricated

Comments include:

• Rear dampers show signs of leaking
• Slight perishing on track rod end boots
• NSF brake calliper was holding brakes on
• NS engine mount needs replacing
• Differential leaking from NS output shaft

I am extremely pleased with the service and the car is driving brilliantly. When i picked it up after work, it had even been cleaned and looked shinier than ever before!
