Car out of action

A routine bleeding of the cooling system on Saturday 26th November has caused my car to be out of action for a week or two. It could have happened to probably anycar at anytime - i was just unfortunate enough for it to happen to me :(

When undoing the bleed nut at the top of the radiator, it took with it the thread also. So i now have a hole in the top of the radiator and therefore cannot use the car. Whilst the radiator can be repaired by a specialist, the easiest solution, albeit nost expensive, is for me to order a new radiator, especially given work commitments etc.

So today, a new aluminium radiator with blue silicon hoses has been ordered, and should arrive within a week.
